TSAMS Update 10/29/2020

PennDOT's Traffic Signal Asset Management System (TSAMS) has been updated on October 29, 2020 with the following features:

  • Guest users are now able to upload documents for signals which are in construction or testing status. Please note, guest user access is intended to provide temporary access to TSAMS to make updates as part of a construction project. Permanent access should be obtained for other uses of TSAMS. Please refer to the TSAMS Access Guide for more information on access types and procedures.
  • A signal owner module has been added, which provides the following:
    • Quick access to a list of all signals and non-signals owned by a municipality in PDF or spreadsheet format
    • Emergency and non-emergency contact information for municipalities which own traffic signals
    • This module will also support the new process for municipality-wide traffic signal maintenance agreements which is coming soon when the new edition of Publication 191 is published
  • The signal device and non-signal device screens now have a save button to allow data to be saved with exiting to the previous screen.
  • Additional fields are available for pedestrian stub poles, including latitude/longitude coordinates so they can be located on the map.
