PennDOT's Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) recently published Technical Information Sheet #202: Documenting Signal Structure Inspections in PennDOT's Traffic Signal Asset Management System. In response to a recent traffic signal structure pole, PennDOT has recommended municipalities inspect and document the condition of their traffic signal poles. The LTAP Tech Sheet has step-by-step instructions for using TSAMS for that purpose.
