Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement Update

On August 17, 2021, the Office of Attorney General (OAG) granted form approval status for Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreements. The Office of General Council (OGC) previously granted form approval on August 12, 2021. Effective immediately, these agreements no longer need to be routed for OGC and OAG signatures, which will significantly shorten the time necessary for PennDOT to approve agreements.

The signature page of the Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement templates has been updated to remove those signatures no longer necessary and reference the form approvals. Please ensure you have obtained the latest template from the Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreements page prior to submitting.

Due to low usage and technical issues, PennDOT has discontinued use of the "digital signature" template. The signature page should be printed for signatures. The signed version should be scanned and sent to signals@pa.gov.
