TSAMS Update 6/23/2020

PennDOT's Traffic Signal Asset Management System (TSAMS) has been updated on June 23, 2020 with the following features:
  • Vendors can now request access for municipalities they work with within TSAMS. (Previously this required the municipality to initiate the access). When logged into TSAMS, a vendor can click on the profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen under their name, then pick the municipality and submit the request. If the municipality has a designated TSAMS administrator, an email will be sent to the administrator with instructions to grant the access. If the municipality does not have an administrator, PennDOT Central Office will be notified and will contact the municipality to confirm if access should be granted.
  • Vendors now have full edit access for signals, non-signals, and systems in municipalities they are associated with.
  • Document attributes include date, type, and description. (Previously, the date would always be the upload date, and the other attributes could not be changed without deleting and reuploading the document).
