PennDOT's ePermitting System (EPS) can be used to electronically apply for traffic signal and flashing warning device permits. Although the system has been able to accept traffic signal permits for the past year, EPS was upgraded this week with the following enhancements related to signals:
- Applications for flashing warning devices can now correctly link to a non-signal device in TSAMS.
- Removed restrictions on the use of the same signal ID so there can be multiple applications pending for the same signal, and withdrawn applications no longer lock out applying for a permit on the same signal again.
